Daniel "DC" Conway

Born in Ft Lauderdale, Florida, Daniel "DC" Conway was obsessed with the drums by the age of 2.
Surrounded by music for his entire life, he began teaching himself by watching various drummers in churches with his parents and playing along to whatever records he could get his hands on. His brothers and his stepfather gave him influences ranging from progressive metal to fusion, flamenco and all points between, and by the age of 13 he was already playing and recording professionally.
After moving to Las Vegas, he quickly became heavily involved in the music scene and was recruited to be the touring drummer with Warrant founder and songwriter Jani Lane through Dario Lorina. In his various musical endeavors, he has shared the stage with artists ranging from Imagine Dragons to Winger and Jackyl, and has been involved in the national independent music scene with Equal Vision Records artists Youinseries, instrumental guitar heavyweight Greg Howe, and Howe's band Maragold, as well as adding his distinctive style to the prog tinged melodic metal of longtime friend and musical associate Dario Lorina's solo albums for Shrapnel records.
In addition to recently completing the drums on Dario Lorina's second solo album, DC is currently rocking the Fremont Street Experience 5 nights a week in two of their crowd pleasing house bands: the extremely versatile Monroy, and the epic 80's metal tribute Spandex Nation.
